The image is a split-screen comparison featuring the two main parks at Disneyland Paris separated by a diagonal black line. On the left side is Sleeping Beauty Castle inside Disneyland Park, photographed from below with its pink walls, blue rooftops, and gold decorative details standing above grey rock formations and bright green landscaped hills. The sky on this side appears pale and slightly overcast. On the right side is the Walt Disney Studios water tower beneath a vivid blue sky with scattered clouds. The white tower features black Mickey Mouse ears and the words “Walt Disney Studios” across the front, rising above yellow art deco style buildings below. The contrasting images visually compare the fantasy-inspired architecture of Disneyland Park with the Hollywood studio theme of Walt Disney Studios Park, highlighting the distinct atmosphere and design style of each park.

The large Victorian-style hotel building fills the background with soft pink walls, ornate balconies, pointed rooftops, and decorative architectural details. In the centre of the building is a glowing clock set high above the main entrance archway, which is lit with warm golden lights and displays the words “Disneyland Park.” In the foreground are beautifully maintained flower beds filled with bright pink, purple, white, and yellow flowers surrounding trimmed greenery and black Victorian-style lamp posts with glowing yellow lights. Several guests can be seen walking near the entrance area beneath the hotel. The soft evening sky creates a calm atmosphere, while the illuminated hotel and colourful landscaping give the image an elegant and welcoming feel at the entrance to Disneyland Paris.

Quick answer: which Disneyland Paris park is better?

The short answer is that most would consider the Disneyland Park to be the best park as it has the castle, the bigger parades and most of the well known rides. The long answer is that both parks offer something different. The Disneyland Park is the more traditional park with everything you would associate with the traditional Disney brand like Mickey Mouse or the Princesses. Disney Adventure World is the smaller of the two parks and is themed with the newer parts of the Disney brands like Toy Story, Cars and Frozen. Both have character meet and greets, shops, restaurants and shows.

What is the difference between the two Disneyland Paris parks?

Even though both parks have some great rides, attractions, shows and character meet and greets, the Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World have many differences in size, theming, facilities and characters.

The image shows a wide view down the centre of Main Street at Disneyland Paris on a bright, sunny day. In the distance, the pink Sleeping Beauty Castle stands prominently at the end of the street, framed by trees and decorative lampposts on both sides. The sky above is vivid blue with scattered white clouds, creating a bright and cheerful atmosphere. Tram tracks run through the middle of the brick-paved street, leading the eye toward the castle. Large crowds of visitors fill the scene, including families with pushchairs, groups of friends, and children walking around the park. Some people are dressed casually in shorts and T-shirts, while others wear Disney-themed clothing and accessories. The overall image captures the lively energy and busy atmosphere of a popular day inside Disneyland Paris.

Where is there to eat at the Disneyland Park?

There are tons of snack bars dotted around the Disneyland Park, plus several cafes and restaurants on main street. Here are a few of our favourites to get you started,

Toad Hall Restaurant: based in fantasyland this restaurant is themed in an English stately home style with inspiration from wind in the willows. For a reasonable price you get a generous and tasty portion of fish and chips. They even do a vegan option that tastes good too! Save some money by ordering the kids portion, it’s pretty big and a good portion size for lunch.

March Hare Refreshments: also based in fantasyland this small food stall is worth a visit for the beautifully topped ice creams, complete with an edible spoon.

Cable Car Bake Shop: you can find this bakery on main street and can either eat in or take out. As well as a delicious range of cakes and sweet treats, this is where you can pick up the Mickey shaped pretzel sandwich.

Cowboy Cookout Barbecue: the food matches the decor and they’re both great! Themed in the style of a Wild West ranch this restaurant provides tasty BBQ based fast food to take away or eat in.

Captain Jack’s – Restaurant des Pirates: this is a sit down restaurant that has the best setting inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. The excellent view does come with a high price tag though so if you don’t have a meal plan it can easily add up to around €150 for a family of four.

The image shows the entrance area of Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris under a bright blue sky with scattered clouds. Dominating the background is the iconic white water tower topped with black Mickey Mouse ears and the words “Walt Disney Studios” written across the tank. In the foreground are warm yellow and cream-coloured art deco style buildings with curved rooflines, teal trim, and decorative windows. A few visitors walk through the open plaza area, including a person pushing a stroller and another standing near a rubbish bin and lamp post. Green awnings and hanging flower baskets add colour to the scene. The sunlight creates strong shadows across the pavement, while the bright colours and classic Hollywood-inspired architecture give the area a cheerful, cinematic feel associated with the Disney park entrance.

Disney Adventure World (was Walt Disney Studios)

Disney Adventure World is geared more towards the more modern side of Disney and Pixar rather than the original movies. It’s the smaller of the two parks with fewer rides, attractions and character meets. However, it’s constantly being expanded with the Marvel Avengers Campus back in 2022 and World of Frozen in 2026.

FAQs: visiting both Disneyland Paris parks

Is it worth getting a two park ticket at Disneyland Paris?

Yes it is, both parks offer completely different things in terms of attractions, rides and food so it’s worth getting a ticket to experience both.

Can you visit both Disneyland Paris parks in one day?

It is possible to visit both Disneyland parks in one day as the two parks are just a couple of minutes walk from each other so you can easily travel between them both. We’ve created a simple one day itinerary for Disneyland Paris to give you some inspiration for your trip.

Who is the Disneyland Paris Park best for?

At the Disneyland Park there are tons of rides that are suitable for younger children, teens and adults alike. Even rides like Pirates of the Caribbean aren’t overly scary for a toddler to enjoy. Depending on how much of a thrill seeker everyone in your party is there’s also plenty of rides for older kids and adults to enjoy. This includes HyperSpace Mountain, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, Big Thunder Mountain and Star Tours.

Who is the Disney Adventure Park best for?

Disney Adventure World is definitely geared more toward younger visitors and has some great small rides for toddlers like Slinky Dog and the Flying Carpets over Agrabah. There are rides for the whole family to enjoy too with Cars ROAD TRIP and Ratatouille. In terms of teens and adults, there are a few thrill rides but if I was visiting as an adult I would probably skip most of Disney Adventure World and focus more on the Disneyland Park instead.

Summary: which Disneyland Paris park is better?

The question of which Disneyland Paris park is better really depends on your perspective. If you have young children who love all of the Pixar movies then Disney Adventure World is best with the Toy Story, Cars and Frozen themes. However, if you prefer the traditional Disney along with a good mix of rides, characters, playgrounds and shows then then the main Disneyland Park would suit your family better.

Our favourite is the Disneyland Park as we love dancing along to the parades and Big Thunder Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean are our all time favourite rides. The mix of thrill rides and rides for all of us to enjoy means we get more out of the Disneyland Park, and the food is better with a wider range of snacks.
